Beryl Young has the best job in the world. She writes books for children.

She was born in Yorkton, Saskatchewan on a cold and snowy November night. Because her father was in the RCMP, her family moved often and she has lived in almost every province in Canada.

By the time Beryl graduated from grade twelve in Victoria, BC, she had attended sixteen schools.
