David Adams has performed, directed and sung in theatre, opera, film and TV across North America. From mega musicals Showboat, Phantom of the Opera and Sunset Blvd. to three seasons at The Shaw Festival, from appearances on The X-Files and the movie Little Women to voicing the role of Nawaz in CBC Radio’s monumental adaptation of A Fine Balance.

He spent 6 seasons as Vancouver Opera’s Resident Associate Director and recently directed My Fair Lady (WCTC) and the opera Rigoletto (Edmonton Opera). He produced and directed The Performing Arts Gala that celebrated the 150th Anniversary of the City of New Westminster, B.C. Recent appearances on stage, include Shylock in The Merchant of Venice, Dara in My Granny the Goldfish, The Editor in Tear the Curtain, Mr. Green in Visiting Mr. Green and Gino Barbieri in Mambo Italiano
