A graduate of the University of Victoria and now resident of Vancouver, TJ Dawe has made touring fringe festivals part of his primary career since his first tour in 1998.
Since his first fringe tour in 1998, TJ Dawe’s performances have earned him acclaim and sell out houses all across Canada. His writing has regularly been awarded “Pick of the Fringe” and he is often asked to perform extended runs at festivals he performs at. TJ’s writing has recently helped established a Hollywood relationship with Fox Searchlight studios as they picked up his 2001 hit play Toothpaste and Cigars for adaptation to the screen.
